Tool Steel

D3 Steel has properties of High Carbon 2% and High chromium 12 % tool steel with high wear resistance. Its supply condition is normally annealed to easy machining which recommended hardness is 57-58 HRC after making the dies & tools. 

Typical applications for D3 Steel are:

H13 Tool Steel is a versatile chromium-molybdenum hot work steel that is widely used in hot work and cold work tooling applications. The hot hardness of H13 resists thermal fatigue cracking which occurs as a result of cyclic heating and cooling cycles in hot work tooling applications.

CW-1 Cold Work Tool Steel are employed for the manufacture of tools for applications involving surface temperatures below 200°C. CW-1 steel is a corrosion-resistant, high vanadium wear-resistant tool.

P20 Plastic Molding Steel is an alloy tool steel that offers good machinability even in hardened and tempered conditions. This steel gives an excellent polished finish and is one of the most widely accepted specifications for machine-cut plastic molds and casting dies. 

P20 +Ni Steel is an upgraded version of plastic mold steel 0f 2311, which normally is supplied in Pre hardened condition. P20+Ni is the equivalent grade to the most popular steel grade of DIN 2738 which is applicable for large & small plastic mold dies for Automotive Industries, Dies, High finishing plastic Die, and Boaster Plates of Presses, Die Holders & Shoe blocks for drop Hammers, Press Cassettes, forging dies, Different dies & mold for plastic products, etc.
